Process 

To make your experience as creative and fun as possible we have developed a process to help get the best results. You will be working with our designer Jo, who only takes on a few projects per month to make sure that the quality of work is at a high standard.

Read through of the processes for our core services so you know what to expect. Sometimes timelines and the steps will vary depending on how fast we work together and the project but it give you a great idea of what to expect.

FAQ

 

+ What do I need to have ready?

Before your project start date you will have your brief(s) completed along with any other requirements. Things like your Pinterest board or inspiration, photos and copy. If this isn't completed before the start date then we can't begin our process.

The main things you need when building a website are;

  • a domain name
  • words for your website
  • imagery for your website

+ Is Squarespace right for me?

Squarespace is one of the most versitile platforms but how about you see for yourself. Sign up for a free trial and check out everything that it has to offer www.squarespace.com

+ WHAT IF I NEED LOTS OF HELP OR CHANGES AFTER WE FINISH WORKING TOGETHER

I'm always happy to help and do charge my hourly rate after projects finish, unless you are on the premium package which comes with 1 week of support. The good news is you can chat directly with Squarespace, use their knowledge base and follow their video turorials which is all free! And a good old google always goes far.

+ WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DOMAIN NAME AND HOSTING

With all websites you need to have an address where your website will live, this is your domain name. Website also need a place to store everything. Squarespace takes care of the hosting so when you upgrade your website it stores your website ready for the web.

+ Do you do printing?

We do not have any printing equipment but do have realationships with top quality printers. We can manage printing jobs for your projects so you don't have to worry about a thing.

+ What if I don't like the first logo concepts?

This sometimes does happen, even after the thorough discovery process as you may change your mind about what direction you want to go in. If you don't like the three concepts that are provided we can always do more at an extra charge. Or alternatively, if you don't want to go any further we can terminate the project - work up until that point will need to be paid for.(ps this has never happened)

+ Are there any other expenses?

We will always let you know if there are any other costs that come along the way in the project, costs are outlined in your electronic estimates and invoices.

+ Can we have a face to face meeting?

Due to the nature of the fast turn around times and how we run the business it is generally best to meet either over Zoom, email or phone.

+ Do you offer payment plans?

We take a 25% deposit to book your job and the rest of the payment is due at the end of the job.

+ How do I pay you?

We currently accept bank deposits as well as credit card payment and Paypal. (Credit card payments and overseas payments do have merchant fees)

+ What currency are your prices in?

As we are based in New Zealand all our prices on our website are in NZD, use this currency converter to find out what our prices are in your currency.

+ I still have a few questions, can we chat?

+ How can I give you changes?

While we are working on a project together the best way to give us changes is to email them. We work a lot faster this way and prefer to.
