Three Work fit tips for entrepreneurs
I've probably spent way too long writing this blog post, as it's been a hard one to write! Writing about yourself is a teeny bit weird and interviewing yourself is even stranger, but hey, I'm doing it because I want you guys to get to know the face behind the work and hopefully make a real-world connection.
Six month and six things I've learned freelancing
I know I’m totally guilty of not taking a break and exercising, as I’m designing all the time on the computer so this guest blog post is all about helping you to look after yourself. Jill from Positive Energy Fitness has kindly shared with us three work tips to keep us going when we are all busy, stressed and working away.
Let's get personal - this ones for you newbie designers
Well it's been about six months or so since I left my full time design job at Toast. I miss the team heaps but still keep in touch with them which is nice. I did get to go and eat pizza with them a few weeks ago and join in on the Fat Friday sessions lol or "Shredding" as Steve liked to call it.
I wanted to take a second to send out a message to all the new designers or students who are working away. I was recently part of a Facebook convo where a newbie designer was having a really hard time with a client. It really affected her and I really felt for her because at one point in time we have all been there!
