The final project

As some of you may know for the last 5 weeks I have been working on my final studio project for uni. Which has meant hibernating, not sleeping, not going out and hardly any horse riding. Suffer a little gain a lot I say.

I cannot believe that its almost over though! I’ve been working really hard day and night to get it all together and cannot wait to have it completed.

For the final project the brief was quite open and we were allowed to do anything. So what did I do? I wanted to try and do something that expanded my skills and was a real challenge.

I did a bit of research…well a lot of research, and decided that I wanted to have a boutique shop designing beautiful things with a purpose.

These products are fully designed by me, no tracing or downloading images from the internet. Everything starts with a piece of paper, a pencil, eraser and of course me and my imagination.

Each collection that is created would have a certain theme which would be inspired by something beautiful from around the world. A certain amount of all profits made would be donated to a charity of that collection.

I don’t want to give away too much at this stage but here is a sneak peak of what is to come. You will have to wait until Friday to see it all.

would love to hear what you think? What kind of collection would you like to see? What do you like? What do you think is missing from the market?
