3. Is Squarespace customisable?

Yes. While there is nothing wrong with using the templates available, there are things you can do to make your site your own.

Experiment with the options on each template's Style Editor. Changes can be made to fonts, colours, backgrounds, and spacing, for instance, without using any code. Or play around with the blocks and layout.

However, for further customisation and to really stand out, you can add custom codes, which is usually best done by a website designer.


4. How can I update payment details on Squarespace?

Each site on Squarespace has its own billing cycle. An active credit card on file is required because each subscription is set to auto-renew annually or monthly to avoid any service interruptions. If you wish to review your invoices, make changes and updates on your billing plan, or use a different card, just access the Billing & Account panel and find your site under Subscriptions.

If its the first time you are updating your payment details follow the steps below.

  1. Log into your site.

  2. In the Home Menu, click Settings, and then click Billing & Account.

  3. Click Billing, and then click Credit Card.

5. How can I set up SEO on Squarespace?

Squarespace already has built-in SEO-friendly tools. There's no need to use any kind of plugin.

6. What are the guidelines on uploading photos on Squarespace?

Images must be saved using either .jpg, .gif, or .png format only. Squarespace recommends using images of less than 500KB although you'll have a maximum image upload of 20MB for each individual image. Image resolution limit is 60 megapixels.

Take note that Squarespace will automatically create seven versions of your uploaded image, each with a different width. The platform has a built-in responsive design that picks the appropriate image size based on the visitor's screen to ensure perfect display.
